Galus, son of Mageking Drest and inheritor of the new nation of Vuulydon, was born into a world of rigid traditions and the weight of his bloodline’s legacy. As a child, he witnessed his father’s adherence to traditions of his mentor, Voros of Vuul. Even through constant wars with the Frelheid, the death of Galus’ daughter Grasia and the expansion of the Vuulydon borders, Galus has continued on his father’s path and learned along the way. Galus, who took the throne at 48, was a tall, broad-shouldered man with piercing eyes, reflecting both the wisdom of a king and the scars of his past. The Council of Lanterns continued advising the Mageking Galus but during his reign is when the outsiders of the Fonari people, the Masok Konsul, began making their way into the advisory counsel through one if Voros’ sons. Galus’ death at 72, due to a swift and unexpected illness, cut short his plans for his nation, leaving his son Tersov to grapple with the aftermath.
