Mageking Tersov was a man who witnessed the growing strength of his lineage falter. Under his father, Mageking Galus, much of the outer turmoil with the Pheori Aelves and the Unruly Frelheid was tempered in the borders of Vuulydon. Tersov saw his inner counsel further divide as the Council of Lanterns and the Masok Konsul increase their ideological divide. Tersov was shaped by his father's and grandfather's adherence to tradition, and he became Mageking at 45. Despite his outward stoicism, Tersov was often plagued by indecision. When his son Taysali’s daughter Olga was born, he hesitated to follow the brutal traditions surrounding the family's cursed bloodline. His deep brown eyes, always clouded with worry, betrayed his fear of the powerful magic in Olga's veins. He ignored the rules set forth by the family founder, Adonis Oakhand. After witnessing the catastrophic destruction caused by Olga’s uncontrolled powers, which decimated much of Fogholt, Tersov's health rapidly declined. He passed the throne to his son Taysali at the age of 70, dying two years later, forever burdened by the indecision that haunted him throughout his rule.
