Dianan Mór

The Dianan Mór is a shamanistic order devoted to the old spirits, their faith intertwined with their belief and their combat. Clad in ceremonial armour, they see themselves as divine instruments, their weapons blessed through rites older than the kingdoms themselves. To cross a Dianan Mór is to invite not only their blade but the wrath of the spirits they serve.   The Dianan Mór are revered by many in the north as wise and powerful spirit walkers, with the ability to communicate with the natural world and its inhabitants. Their unique knowledge and skills have earned them the respect and admiration of many tribes and clans throughout the Ayre Lands.   Although the spiritwalkers were influenced by the first Jaagr, it was the enigmatic and visionary Sidhe Ríoghain who carved their path into the modern eras. The Dianan Mór have long been at the forefront of spiritual and cultural practices in the north. The Aldurblud and Rioghain clans' alliance has strengthened their influence, with Alpin Aldurblud serving as a wise and respected advisor to many in the north.   The Verki, meanwhile, have become the primary defenders of the north, using their strength and skill in battle to protect their people from external threats with the Northfeith. While they do not possess the same spiritual gifts as the Dianan Mór, the Verki have a deep respect for the natural world and work closely with the Dianan Mór to ensure the well-being of their people within the Jaagrom of Valhedge.   Despite occasional tensions between the spiritual and military factions of the north, the Dianan Mór, Northfeith, and Jaagrom have formed a powerful and cohesive force. They continue to safeguard the Ayre Lands from those who would do them harm, all while fostering a deep connection with the natural world that sustains them.
