Veeka Moontail (a.k.a. Moonchild)
I never wanted the spotlight! The world was too big for me, and now, I can't escape it! for my Pa, I will see the world for him now, though.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Veeka was born with phacomelia of her left arm. She has adapted use of one paw very well, her afflicted single-claw arm was even adapted for use in her thieving.
Body Features
Athletically built, stronger then normal right paw due to disability adaptation. She is able to grip and climb things very well with her feet and paw. Her tail is prehensile. Her tail is long and fluffy with a black/brown fur tuft at its tip. Her fur pattern is a mix of Browns, whites and greys, the color of the moons, which she gets her affectionate name "Moonchild" from.
She has styled her mane into dreadlocks that are swept behind her ears and held by a red bandana that her mother once wore. Her left arm was afflicted with phacomelia, which caused her arm to be incredibly shorter, lack an elbow and the absence of a paw, only has a single clawed digit. She has adapted this digit into her snatching abilities., it remains used as a hook or to steady herself if need be, other than that, she rarely uses the arm, often keeping it hidden in a loose sleeve that is tied off at the elbow.
Special abilities
Veeka learned magic at a late age, she is still learning to this day, but has gained the ability to asorb and 'steal' readied spells from casters to use on her own terms. She registered as a "Spellthief" in the Adventer's Guild's Ledger. She knows basic divination magic, and minored in evocation.
Although she did not formally attend any schools or guilds, she was taught by the Lujen of the Order of the Crescent in order to protect herself in magic. She has no intentions to attend a mages guild and rather would develop it on her own terms. She remains physical in her adventuring and day to day life.
Apparel & Accessories
Veeka's clothing is very basic and loose. She wears a loose tunic with one long sleeve she uses to conceal her malformed arm. She wears leggings under a loose skirt, while wrapping her lower legs in leg wrappings for protection. She elects to keep her footpaws fully exposed for climbing, defense, and to "remain in contact with the land"
We wildkin have a belief that we can feel the earth beneath our paws. We can sense the world and make movements on a whim. As long as I can feel that resonance, I know my feet can take me where I wanna go. Plus... I sorta... uh, rely more on my feet than most.

Personal history
Veeka was born to Diego and Eralia Moontail of Eldoredo Abraqas. She was a premature birth that led to the mother passing away during her birth. She was born with a phacomelia afflicted left arm which is much shorter and bares only a single claw in the place of a paw. She hides this in a loose sleeve that is tied off above the elbow, giving her the illusion of only having one arm.
The church of Esupte deemed her Exa touched which was a branding of shame. This emotionally bothers Veeka when she must enter the city for business, to be bullied and harassed by its citizens due to her birth defect. Her father fell ill after her mother died and Veeka has been taking care of Him ever since, by thieving and other criminal acts. She only takes and thieves what is needed to survive.
She makes her coin by repairing and simple services outside of her dirty work. Being born with only one paw, she has very impressive dexterity in it, able to manipulate most objects that most need two hands for. For the most part she lives law abiding best she can.
Veeka has a natural interest to explore and sneak, an instinct she has taken from her primal ancestry. This sometimes gets her into things she does not want to be involved with or in trouble.
Gender Identity
Veeka Identifies as a female. She was born female. She understands that others may wish to be or think they are something else, she fully supports personal freedoms like such. She has been cued into the global knowledge of genders and transgenders.
Sexuality
Veeka is heterosexual. She finds nothing wrong with gay relationships. She just does not get attracted to other females.
Education
Veeka is self educated, and never had attended a school. She taught her self to read and write with the help of her father. Due to the simple life she once lived, she knows the basic essentials, how to cook, sow fields, track and scavenge. She learned to use a dagger by circumstance.
Employment
Veeka employed herself in petty theft and pickpocketing. It was only fate that she took Adventurer Guild contracts. She also had fenced stolen goods to various thieves guilds.
Tinkering, Repair Services
Veeka has an unofficial tinkering and repair service she sells to adventurers and shop keeps alike. She is a natual adept to technical skill and loves to take apart things to see how they are made , then put them back together. She has made a great much coin in this service, which she sends most back to her father back in Esupte.

Accomplishments & Achievements
Veeka had discovered a Popular Delve known as Tletzacq's Folly. The furthest Sasslisian Bunker ever discovered West.
She had stumbled upon the ruin while exploring the forest. It was by her necklace and sasslisian relic that the ruin was discovered, and eventually registered as a Delve for the Adventurer's guild.
Hah! Tletzacq's Folly, many adventurers have started their lives there. Its one of the most popular starter delves for people just getting into our craft!

Motivation
Veeka wishes to provide for her father and support him in anyway necessary. She sends most of her coin made back home to him to ensure he lives comfortably while she can see the world that her kin hear so much about. She is driven by the wonders of the world to provide for her father even more. A beastkin in a beastmen's world.
Vices & Personality flaws
Veeka is known to be unable to control her desire to swipe small things. She keeps a collection of these items in a pouch she wears. She has done this so well and subtly, she often finds herself worn down with useless trinkets.

Personality Quirks
Veeka has a unsaited desire to climb nearly everything she sees. This made her perfect as a scout for Adventuring parties who took her into their groups during dives and delves. Her keen eyesight at night only furthers her value.
Even wildkin register with the Adventurer's Guild! The Moontail, Veeka, she has unknowingly become a symbol to other wildkin to adapt and live with the rest of advanced society. She is also a priceless scout to our underground delves!
Hygiene
Veeka is very well kept and clean. Her wiry fur keeps her dry in rain, and often has a disheveled look with her simple clothes and bare footpaws. She often gets mislabeled as unclean and disease ridden due to her looks and style. She often wears a pine perfume when she is out socially and is known to tie trinkets to her mane.

Contacts & Relations
The Order of the Crescent
Veeka is not an official member of the Drinalis Sect. She is an honorary member given to her by Zhira Moonshadow, a Lujan soulkeeper and commander of the Abraqus Sect of the Order. Zhira and Veeka became good friends, as she credits the lujan for showing her a new life.
When I first met the big lujan, I was scarred, I had the wrong opinion of them before fate put me with Zhira. I was being hunted by some Admandeaux nutcase and I was saved by her and her Order. I stayed with them for a year, before parting ways as an honorary member of her sect. She was a sweetheart, a big ol' den mother. She almost imprinted on me as a mother figure. She taught me magic, how to use a blade, and to hide even better. I will never forget her. Hope she is doin' well. I really do. I pray to the spirits every time I look up at the moons, for her safety.
Family Ties
House Moontail of Abraqas
While not an official house, It is registered in her father's name to receive estate status. Veeka is the heir to this house and she intends to bring good fortune to her name.
Religious Views
Veeka believes in ancestral worship. This is often frowned upon by the churches of Eldoredo Abraqas. She believes everyone, and every creature has a soul and they must be treated with respect. She believes that when a wild animal passes, they can become a Beastkin in their next life, like she believes.
I think the wildlife and animals we see out in nature, Wooshu's gift to Gaia. I do believe that they can be given ascendance to become someone new, a Beastkin. Do not blame me or yell at me for taking my time to lay a woodland critter to rest through burial. May their soul return to the earth and be blessed by Gaia to experience life anew, as a fellow wildkin.
