Wooshu (Woo-shoo)
Nature's Guardian
Wooshu, is an Emerald Imperial Dragon that has ascended to godhood within the Gaian Pantheon. He is Gaia's God of Nature, Renewal and Sorrow.
"The World's jungles, and forests, anything with a tree to spare is under the Mythical Wooshu's authority to protect. His power is unfathomable, and likely has saved our worlds several times before."
Appearance
Wooshu is a member of an extinct offshoot of Imperial Dragons known as Emerald Imperial Dragons. They bore emerald green scales, a white underbelly and a silver mane. They had light green whiskers that had a feather appendage on their tips, as they seemed to flow with the wind. Wooshu also had a pair of horns that serrated at one point before curling upwards. While he had small pointed eats under his horns.
Wooshu now takes two forms, his physical corporeal form, and his True Divine form.
Corporeal Form
His physical form is that of his physical self, without the divine energy. He is seen with vines wrapped loosely around his body, giving white blossoms along their stems. His silver mane flows with the wind.
Divine Form
All gods have a divine form. This is their true selves after their creation or ascension. Wooshu's divine form is incorporeal. His form is long and serpentine, just like his corporeal form, unmistakably draconic. His form is weightless, silent and floats along the ground. Wherever he steps, under his footpaws white flowers will bloom for a few moments which then fade into mist.
The edges of his form are soft and blurred, dissolving into leaf-like motes or dust like pollen as he moves. His mane becomes spectral moss and orchid like fronds, and freely flows behind him as if caught in an unseen breeze. His whiskers trail behind him like silver filaments leaving behind luminous streaks in their wake.
The air around Wooshu is silent and reverent as he appears. Birdsong will cease, the wind becomes eerily still, and an aura of gentle sorrow manifests.
His eyes float like lanterns in a fog, and are often the first thing seen before he manifests. Whenever they lock onto someone, sorrow is said to be alleviated, as if being shared by a caring other.
His voice is like wind in a canyon, as if someone remembered my name after so many years. Its almost the sound of a last breath of a weeping tree.

The Runestones of Wooshu
Wooshu has carved and written rune stones that are found about Gaia, that act as a diary entry or recording of his ventures. There are an unknown amount of these rune stones on Gaia, though Druids and people alike made it a mission to hunt and record these down into a form of record keeping.
They are massive stones that are usually larger than a humanoid, and finished off with a green hue that gives a glow. The stones are either Marble, Granite, or even a t times Obsidian. It is unknown how Wooshu wrote these, or if he even did at all. They are important points of view of certain events or individuals.
These stones are to be captures of his essence and his emotions that radiated so powerful, they left the stones in their wake.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
Wooshu's Divine Symbol is an Aldaar Tree with roots spreading beneath it. This Sigil was credited to which tree he passed away under that later allowed his essence to fuse with Gaia. Druidic orders usually bare his sigil and designate themselves custodians of the Wild in his honor.
The Sigil of Wooshu depicts an Aldaar Tree with a moon rising behind it, signifying his connection to Drinalis. The Roots symbolize his influence all over the world, and the tree, remains a symbol of renewal and life.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Wooshu was hatched at around the time after the Combined Empire fell. He was born with a sickness that had already doomed him. Wooshu was a sickly dragon all his life. He had trouble walking, breathing, moving, but he forced himself to do so. He was the last Emerald Imperial Dragon to have existed.
He was obsessed with nature, he surrounded his short life with it, and took in all its beauty. He nurtured and saved wildlife, and forests to his best ability. His health fell quickly, living only up to twenty five years.
Death
Wooshu passed away peacefully within the Jade Jungle, curled around his favorite tree, an Aldaar Tree, which would become his sigil. His place of death is now called the Crying Canopy, and it is a flower growth area that grew around this rebirthed Aldaar tree and it said to be beyond beautiful. With his death, The Emerald Imperial dragons, became extinct. His spark, however would be lit anew.
Ascension
Wooshu was visited by Drinalis as his flame flickered out. His suffering was eased as Drinalis took his soul. However legends say, Wooshu appeared before Drinalis and made him shed tears of sorrow, which in return, Drinalis granted him his ascension through mercy and Sorrow. Wooshu absorbed the energy around him, taking Drinalis' sorrow into himself. He was reformed, as what he would have been as an adult. Drinalis guided his soul out of the Canopy, where he learned the fate of his kind.
Wooshu learned his sickness, afflicted his kin, and they had passed away due to it. Wooshu was forever stricken with sorrow, survivors guilt, if one can call it that. Drinalis shared his sympathy, and for days, sat with him in silence. Weeping for his kin, he swore to protect their legacy, the nature-bound ways they dedicated their lives to. For his emotions, He became the Breath of Gaia, and the weeping soul of memories.
I never wanted them to suffer, I wanted them to live. I wanted them to continue to grace this world. But I got them ill...and With it, my kin's identity, ceased to exist.
