These dragons a re wingless, yet they can still fly through their innate magic. They also are the most Friendliest of the major races of dragons.

Northern Dragons

Northern dragons are a rare sight to behold. They are reptilian yet instead of scales they are usually bundled with thick layers of fur and feathers. Sometimes they have bat-like wings too. These dragons are the second smallest and perhaps the most feral of the four major groups. They usually have paws and carry canine, vulpine, or feline features. They live in the most harshest of regions and are as intelligent as their kin always are.

Quetzal Dragons

Quetzal dragons, also sometimes called a Southern Dragon are the smallest of the four races. They retain snake-like serpentine appearances, sometimes with limbs or lacking. They usually have feathered wings and are an array of brilliant and dense colors. No larger than a Moose, these dragons usually are revered as gods by ancient folk. They too, are seen as gods, and have been known to speak and bestow gifts upon those that they approve of. Most of these dragons make their homes amongst dense jungles.

Elder Dragons

Elder Dragons are a special kind of dragon that has attained the status of a God or deity, or has lived a very long time to become a powerful force in the worlds of Gaia and Rei-Val. These dragons are often much larger than the their base counterparts and stand out in some way or another. these dragons are almost always regarded to as Dragon Gods. They have a special group dedicated to serving them and guarding their sites, known as the Teryxi Dracona.
These dragons are usually aware of the status they have attained and some do flaunt it. Others do not, but in t he end, there are not many dragons that have reached this state of their life. They are said to have been chosen before their hatching by some unseen force to carry the legacy of dragon kind with them through the millennia. Some cults have been founded that dedicate themselves to an Elder Dragon. It is even said that the gods themselves are weary of these mighty dragons.

Common Etiquette rules

One must always show a dragon respect, as they can rend and tear a person apart without difficulty. Dragons see themselves in very high regard and they consider thier presence a blessing to others about them. If a person ends up meeting one, that in itself, a dragon considers being 'generous'.   Though the etiquette changes dragon to dragon, most show a supremacist vision of themselves, and the others of the world about them are nothing more but pawns and ants.

Funerary and Memorial customs

Ritualistic cremation, ceremonial burial, ceremonial resting within a Necropolis.

Ideals

Beauty Ideals

All Dragons adore their scales and personal hygiene. They also keep their fur and manes in top shape by practicing bathing traditions set forth by their elders. Scars are also but a mark of victory. Most dragons will not cover scars or proudly display them to show that they are hardened and proven creatures that once ruled the world.   It is not rare to see a dragon adorn themselves in jewels or jewellery or even some silks or clothing of some s ort. Though normally these do not cover their entire bodies, they still wear them as of a show of style.
