The Celestial Empire is amongst one of Gaia's World Powers. The nation was founded in 900 As by the Isarian elder Jootun Namazi. Namazi was a elder of the Moon that eventually led to the establishment of Sebilestia, the capitol of the Celestian Mandate.
The Celestial Mandate is bordered by mostly neutral to friendly nations, while it actively supports the Dominas cause against their deepest rivals of Sassliss. Which is on the other side of the Domingo Coast.
They have been locked into a proxy war with the Sasslisian Imperium through their support of the Genetically engineered slave soldiers of the Domingo people, in thier fight for freedom.
Culture
The Celestial culture is based on ancient warfare and the practice of Feng Shui. The native Isarian population are a martial people trained at a very young age in the are of Gekitou. Manners and honor are the things that count the most for their people. Despite thier reptilian ancestry, the ISarian people have led the way for all peoples of the Eastern nations into the world stage.
They are gracious hosts, honorable fighters, and lying is against their customs. They a re friendly to thier neighbors, and even sympathize with the Domingo to their west.
History
The Isarian tribes of the Jade jungle had split into two groups, each one following a mantra. One sought eternal life and the p leasing of the gods, while the other sought peace and tranquility. The celestial empire was founded by Jootun Namazi, after being elected to the elders of his tribe.
Jootun was the first emperor of the Celestian Mandate. The current Imperial family are his direct descendants. The Tetsuya clan has overseen the Imperial nation for thousands of years. They trace their heritage to Jootun and thus claim the mandate. The Celestian empire has since grown and developed itself into a powerful gaian nation. Often seen as the bulwark of the Beast folk into the world stage.
