Qadena

The Holy City of Qadena is a city located in the continent of Kalsaki. As of the current date, it is the main focus for the devotees of Al-Qamar to visit to fulfil their religion's obligation for pilgrimage.

Government

Religion plays a key role in governing the city. The laws, taxation and organization is based on the Al-Qamar's holy books. A sultan or sultana is in control of the city as well as the religious leader. They take lead during prayers and command the administration of Qadena.    It was meant to be the sultan's duty to govern the city, but after the death of the last sultan, the current sultana governs alone and changes the structure of the government. Women are in control. The guards, the ministry are taken over by the women of Qadena.

History

Many accounts of when the city was built are recorded, but Era 3 is the widely accepted time due to the ancient designs of the mosques and the sultana's castle.   At the time, Qadena was only a small settlement consists of nomads. The extreme climate with occasional sandstorms and dangerous creatures prowling weren't the ideal conditions to start a civilization, nor a place for prayers.   It was when two travelers from far: a man and a woman, came to Kalsaki and performed "miracles" on the south land near the sea. They impressed the locals by spawning life in the deserted land, providing it with water and plants for the locals. The two were viewed as the messengers of gods but before they could be hailed as their leaders, they mysteriously vanished.
