Wine
Qadena may be the overzealous city that they often present themselves as, they can't escape the temptation of wine. Wine became an essential resource for the city to keep up with the cost of construction. From the rebuilding of the city walls from the Northern Fera's attacks to the construction of the masjid to worship the Goddess of Life and Moon, Lunaya.
The local winery took it upon themselves to create their own wine that can be marketable to the whole world. One winery, Daw' Alqamar, created the Eanaqid Alghadab, a special wine that are used for religious ceremonies.
History & Usage
Cultural Significance and Usage
One particular wine, Eanaqid Alghadab, is primarily used during religious or marriage ceremonies. The wine is royal blue in color, has surprisingly sweet taste compared to other wines and intoxicating smell that can cause addiction. Hence, Eanaqid is only served on a small plate for the Sultana and the Ustadz. The wine is carefully sipped and savored the taste before allowing it to inseminate within the body as a way to be "cleanse" from evil.
Distribution
Trade & Market
Daw' Alqamar is the sole winery that brew the wine for Qadena. The common wine, Tajmid Al'iiqama, is sold to the public and distributed to Strigea and Adescheid commercially. The Eanaqid is strictly distributed through religious means, and only if the kingdom, organization or person worships goddess Lunaya. As a substitute to this wine, Daw' Alqamar brewed Taeakir Malmus as a luxury wine for the rich.
Their exotic tastes attracted some of the Feras to have a taste test, however, they are obligated to worship Lunaya to permit entrance and consumption of the city's product. The winery owner had the heart to brew a specific wine for Feras called Hurayrat Saghira, a wine with mild yet rich taste.
