Emissary Meeting

Preparation

The party made preparations to meet with the emissaries. Namely, Bostwick, Cassius, and Daniel investigated the peculiar Volunteer program Cordero was offering. A key thing they noted was how volunteers were given suspicious pins that had a subtle Paradisian affinity. This would likely mean that the Null spawn would be drawn to it and lash out.

The Meeting

The party finally met with the emissaries of each country. Lucilla Falco, Cordero's emissary, was joined by Coryza Domitia, the Administer of Foreign Affairs. The party managed to make Lucilla nervous, causing Coryza herself to intervene and make Cordero's demands simple: The party are wanted criminals and Coryza demanded that they be handed over.

The party managed to convince Doven, Miral, and even Otsukai to posture against Coryza. The meeting concluded that any aggressive action Cordero takes is likely to be met with consequences.

The Lost Seraph

The party accepted a request from Cervatien that a seraph had left to investigate a possible source of the Null spawn. The fact he hasn't returned is why the people are uneasy. He was last seen heading southwest.

Downtime

While settling for the evening, Gloria (unfortunately) met with Victor (her more moral brother) and even went to a place to eat with John.

Cassius and Bostwick hunted down Daniel at a library creating a horde of books in a library. Eventually the locals had to call eidolons to stabilize the situation. The eidolons, with the help of Bostwick, took Daniel's blood to assess what could be going on...

Come morning, the eidolon returned with results, clarifying that Daniel has wyrmblood heritage that traces back to Zythelia, a mighty dragon back in the Nastirn era who helped the old Empire prosper.

Village of Reskal

The party reached the Village of Reskal to assess the circumstances. They were guided to a captured cambion wretch. Daniel once again managed to push out the hollowing Null power and save the wretch.

The wretch simply explained that it had been ordered to snuff out "a massive light, or else." All that remains now is for the party to continue southwest to investigate the matter further.
