Silverridge Mountains
The Silverridge Mountains rise in silent majesty between the Glaswyn Vale and the Reginae of Viranue, a formidable barrier of alpine peaks where the wild remains largely undisturbed. Their slopes are a realm of towering pines, mist-wreathed ridges, and crystalline streams that carve their way through valleys untouched by war or expansion. Here, nature holds dominion—only the whispers of the wind and the distant cries of hunting falcons break the mountain’s quiet solitude.
Though the Eldari of Glaswyn Vale and the Reginae of Viranue share a deep reverence for the land, neither lays claim to the Silverridge. Instead, they act as its careful stewards, ensuring that its bounty is taken with restraint and respect. Mines, though present, are few and carefully concealed, designed to leave as little mark as possible. Both peoples harvest the land’s wealth—rare minerals, alpine herbs, and sturdy timber—with a practiced hand, taking only what is necessary and ensuring the mountains remain unspoiled.
Yet, for all their beauty, the Silverridge Mountains are no gentle sanctuary. Like any untamed wilderness, they are rife with danger. Few dare to venture too deep into the Silverridge Mountains without purpose. For those who do, the peaks are both test and teacher, a place where resilience is honed and the balance between man, elf, and nature remains precariously, yet perfectly, in place.
