Rhesosian Empire
Rhesos is a largely forested region in the southern part of the continent. Founded over 700 years ago by human settlers, the main stake of the population remains human to this day with a small spattering of other races mixed in. It is one of the larger kingdoms in terms of population, since much of the northern reaches of Eyrar are rather inhospitable. The capital city of Tarleigh sits on an island in the middle of a massive saltwater lake, making it extremely defensible. The dominant religion of the area is worship of the Sovereign Host. The country’s main exports are lumber and livestock.
The northern part of the kingdom that shares it’s border with the Republic of Stonewyth is home to a small tribe known as the Breathnóirí Tribe. It used to be a colony where elves and humans cohabitated peacefully, but as time went on, the elves ended up migrating north. The half-elf population ended up taking on a more human appearance, but maintained the fey-blood of their ancestors. They became servants to the royal family of Rhesos.
The current Emperor is Emperor Rhodan Leonis Bharur IV. He succeeded his father, Rhodan the III after his death. As his title suggests, the Bharur family has been leading the nation for four generations now, but it looks like their chapter will be coming to a close, as Rhodan’s only child, his daughter Aetheria Azariah Bharur, was murdered six years ago on her 20th birthday.
Foreign Relations
Rhodan has been accusing Stonewyth and Hesekiel Maelor of aggressive acts at the Rhesos - Stonewyth border, and tensions have remained high between the two nations ever since.
Agriculture & Industry
Rhesosian land contains some of the most hospitable farming land on the continent, and since the region has a lot of forestry as well, they are the leaders in lumber and grain.

Typically only the upper class or magically gifted are educated.
