Ruvir
The Ruvir are the Vir who claimed the northern parts of Amalar. They are a relatively peaceful people, when compared to their cousins. They've remained secluded through the centuries.
Civilization and Culture
History
When the original three Pimvir tribes split off, the Ruvir settled in the far north, past the mountains, amid the ice and snow. With little sunlight, their skin became extremely pale, almost snow-white. Their figures grew chiseled and sharp from the harsh conditions, and they began growing considerably thicker hair than they used to. They became adept at hunting creatures of the north, and at traipsing through the snow.
The Qoh came to Amalar, and, after seeing the destruction the Silvir wrought with their magic, they traveled north. They soon realized that the Ruvir were considerably more peaceful than the Silvir, and taught them the ways of magic. With the guidance of the Qoh, the Ruvir advanced much faster than their cousins, eventually building ships and setting out into the world. They discovered Iklaroth and its humans, and were able to pass as human enough to hide in their society. When they heard of Quinli's fate, they brought the news back home, and it spread throughout Amalar.
When the Blight reached Iklaroth, the Ruvir were the first ones off the continent, determined not to get infected. Since then, they've been studying the effects of the Scourge, traveling back to the afflicted lands to inspect them, and try to come up with countermeasures.
