A sprawling town built within the small hills and valleys, sometimes called the Hobbit Hills.
Rootmund’s population is almost exclusively Hobbits.
Government:
The town is governed by a village council made up of the heads of the local families, and supported by the Varin Empire.
Defence:
The town has no local guard.
Commerce:
The town trades in handcrafted wears and while it produces a lot of food it is rarely exported.
Geography:
Rootmund is a small cluster of buildings built within a valley and next to a small stream. The rest of the town is spread across acres of small hills and valleys dotted with small homes and other buildings.
