Cult of the Eclipse
The Eclipse were a fanatical cult who sought to undermine and destroy the Varin Empire. They followed a dark spirit that they believed to be the God of Darkness Erebus.
The cult was led by a Moon Elf named Lysanthir, better known by the name Azrael. The Eclipse was made up many different people, but it was mostly comprised of Drow and Shadar-kai Elves.
The Eclipse were known to harness dark and dangerous powers in service to their means, calling on vast armies of shades and monstrosities from the Shadowfell to do their bidding.
The cult would eventually invade the capital of Osirin, Trisam, with the intent to kill King Daelin Varin and usurp the throne. Their efforts were thwarted by the efforts of the Church of Apostasy and the group "Not Wanted”. This led to the dissolution of the cult in the aftermath of the battle.
