Glabaduk Peacemonger
Structure
Disoen is a kingdom of traders and thus it is run mostly by merchants. The city-state is ruled by king, and king's council is formed by trusted and influental merchants of the city-state. The decissions are made in co-operation of the ruler and council.
Public Agenda
Disoen thrives for peace and understanding between all the powers and races of Marghuin. Even monstorous races like goblins, orcs and kobolds are welcome in the city with warm embrace as long as they vow to obey the laws of the nation. In foreing relations representives of Disoen are always working as mediators between more aggressive city-states like Tilhal and Harigas.
History
Tilhal was formerly known as the kingdom of Rarakha, a dynasty which lasted for over two hundred years and ruled over large parts of western and southern parts of Marghuin. Rulers of Rarakha were known for their brutality and ruthlesness.
In the end a large group of common citizens organized a peacefull protest. The ruling king, Dain Third did not like this protest and ordered his soldiers to slay the protesters. Among the protesters was a kobold wool trader called Glabaduk. When the kings soldiers decent from the castle to slay the commoners, Glabaduk adressed them and pleaded them to spare the innocents. The soldiers were persuaded by Glabaduk's words, and felt shamed. They decided, that a man who orders the execution of his own subjects because of peacefull protest is not worthy to rule. Most of the soldiers turned against their king, and he and his family were executed. The people cheered, and demanded that Glabaduk became their new ruler.
With heavy heart Glabaduk accepted. He was not content with the harsh punishment the old king had suffered, but he decided that he would lead the people of Rarakha to more peacefull future, and their past sins would be forgiven. The Rarakha was named anew as the city-state of Disoen, and Glabaduk was annointed the honorific title of Peacemonger.
Demography and Population
Disoen consists of the city itself, an surrounding farmlands. Most of the farmlands spread to east toward outer edges of Gurugada Greatwood. Some colonies have been founded also more to the west.
Territories
The territories of Disoen spread largely around the city itself. Many of these farmlands are filled with small towns all swearing allegiance Disoen and gaining their protection in exchange.
Military
Military of Disoen is smaller than that of the another city-states, but they are still prepared to protect their lands, in nothing else helps.
Religion
Many gods are worshipped in Disoen. Major tempels of Maina the Lady of the Land, Faenru the Prosperous, Eswa the Comrade and Ras the Judge can be found from the city. Some hidden cults of Ferakh the Tyrant and Ulinah the Mad have also been witnessed in the city-state. The ruling Peacemonger family are devoted followers of the Lady of the Land.
Foreign Relations
Disoen aimst to be mediator between other city-states, always looking for peacefull and bloodless solutions to conflicts. This goal is hindered little by the fact that other city-state are somewhat reserved when considering Disoen. This is because Disoen is the only city-state of Marghuin that accepts monstorous races like goblins to achieve full citizenship. City-state of Ganado ha scut all the ties to Disoen because of this reason.
Agriculture & Industry
Disoen is the heart of Marghuins agriculture and food production. Large quantities of crops and vegetables are cultivated in the areas surrounding Disoen.
Education
It has been a long dream of ruling class of Disoen to implement free education to all the citizens but they do not have sufficient funds and expertise to make this happen. Many contacts between Disoen and Merian have been made concerning the topic.

Major Exports
Disoen is largest exporter of food in Marghuin. Most of the city-state of Merian is fed by food bought from Disoen, and other city-states are more than happy to buy their goods.
Major Imports
Most of the building materials are imported to Disoen as well as some lighstones. Disoen has some large deposits of natural lightstone in their eastern borders, but they have yet to exploit these in fear of angering their eastern neighbours in Tilhal.
