Evernight

"This is the world the gods have given us. The world of eternal night. Why, you ask? Why has the Daylord given dominion of the world to the Nightlady? Those are answers that will never be answered. Somethings just aren't ment to be understood by mortals. But don't you worry, my child. For even if the night and darkness seems to be overwhelming, we know, that the Daylord has not abandoned us. He has given us the Beacon, a day when all of Evernight is bathed in glorious sunshine and all the schemes of the Nightlady are laid bare before his eyes. And even in the dark of the year we still have the blessing of lightstones. They drive away the darkness and the night. You don't need to be afraid, child. For this is our world."
