Francisco and his brother Juan quickly moblised the castilan army. Juan took the first army and took the direct train rout to semero
The Engagement
BAttle of semro
the first battle of the war took place as the list snows of February faded. Juan pashas army surrounded the city of semero which was garrisoned by 8000 men of the imperial army. Using cannons they destroyed the ancient cities fortress walls and Castilian mountaineers swarmed the dibbled. The imperial commander general nihieem surrender after the second day laying his sword down only after he himself had kill 10 Rebel soldiers
the Regent mobilizes
after hearing of semero Milan father the seterchan army some 50000 men and 400 gun along with the 4th impiral army the only fully mobilized inpireal forces and marched west. Beloved that his disruption wasn’t strong his forces out numbered juan pasha forced but he knew fransicos forces were not far behind. With him he took a Blair witch who had the ability to use The dark army spell the 4th army would take the faster train rout along the verainberg boarder and they reached the enemy first.
the battle of meganta
the imperial 4th army under the command of Castilian born abrian juanhamd pasha had around 46000 men under army of which around 6000 was cavalry. the army also had around 300 guns. the force they met in the rail way town of meganta was twice there size. fansicso pasha had taken 60000 men of the castilan 1st army with 800 guns. juanhamed ordered his army to pull out of the town and destroy the railway. they succeeded in both but in doing so allowed themselves to be trapped between juan pashas forces in the south and fransico coming from the west. seeing his predicament he telegram the regent milan. milans troops were still three days march away and if he didnt make a move know it would be to late so he descended to fight his way out. the resulting battle was blood. over the next 2 days in muddy ground the two forces slogged it out. after the battle was over 12000 imperial soldiers had escaped along the railway line rout and back into loyalsit tettiroty. juanhamed had died commanding the reaguard and his enitre staff was captured. major general shameed was promoted on the spot by Milan to pasha of the empire and placed int command of the 4th army which made is solom retreat into the duchy of lostia.
milans counter attack.
the regent knew he was out numbered so he decided to attack the enemy where he wasn't along the coast road. 2 week into the war he stopped off at the village of kezeltzia to allow his rear to catch up and then march to mermento. there he secured the loyalist first major victory sending general Pablo's 7th corp running stalling the attack. the imperial general staff made a sigh of relef at the first loyalist victory of the war.
defeat and the retreat from kezeltiza
milan continued his advance threatening the rear of the Castilian army but he had fallen into a trap. Francisco himself had taken 400 war trolls and he was ready to use them. the two main army met in a small coastline hilly area just west of mermarento. there Milan army made an initial bombardment. the seterchan 1st and 2nd corps then made there attack against the casitlans but they held out despite horrendous calculates. milan then ordered the full wight of his army to attack. this shattered the first and second lines of the Castilian but they were stooped by the third line. his final unit were The princes own hussars and they and made the charge. then it happened Francisco unleashed his war trolls onto the seterchans the amount of them and battle faitege routed many units with most making an orderly retreat. milan ordered his blair witch to summon a dark army using The dark army spell and when the last units came toward milan for safety she unleashed the army. it blunted the casitlans but was only able to stop them for a few days.
milans army made camp in kezeltzia. the battle causultes were horrendous and the medical staff weren't able to help all the men. the chief doctor wasn't able to even give all the men who were dieing wine to help them with the pain. milan however wasn't willing to leave men to the rebel hordes which were close on his heals but the chief doctor was able to persuade him and around 4000 men were left behind with a 2000 rearguard. the march prove difficult with goblin and ork raider plaguing them the entire way. milan attempted to make his stand on the east bank of the selca river even making his men dig in but when he realized he was hopelessly out gunned he and his army marched into the duchy of lostia
Outcome
With the defeat of the imperial and impiral army’s the castilans hada direct approach into the duchy of lostia. most of the loyalist force were hit hard with only around 55000 men in total making there way into the duchy of losita.
Aftermath
when in attelo Milan would meet his future and first princess katriana. the battle on the losita line would also begin

The retreat from kezeltiza was one of the most shameful retreats made in history. Never before had the setercha army left men behind
