History

Founding-the progenitor of the family is a man called mentan  and youngest son of melgor the high chieftain of the slavs and the goddess of thunder and storm. depiste being diffrent it does appier that the lostian godess of thunder and strom and the slavic one are the same as she is named in the genoliogcal records as tordera. the story goes that after being defeated by the other jealous gods she was cast into the human realm. where the chieften melgor met her. the two fell in love and would hve a sone mentan.

early history in the northern continent-the mentanavic family was made princes of setercha after Belgor 1st was defeated by The sultan. Belgor 1st married his sister in order to keep the blood line pure and this began a trend of wedding family members.
years of exile-during the first justianinit war the metnanvics under the 37 year old prince ameron 2nd (507YBCW-467YBCW) fought against the lostians and lost sending him and his sister wife along with there 2 sons and one daughter into exile with his uncles family in the recanik pashaliks. Ameron was know as the first exile and his son Constantine (491YBCW-455YBCW) became the second exile when his father died at the age of 40. he was 24 when he became the families head and he married his 19 year old sister Alexandra (486YBCW) while his brother married elena demitrescu. during this time the grand military revolution was in full swing and all the armies of the empire where become nationalized. mean while the mentanvics started to from there own army out of slav exile and this army grew to a size of about 10000 men. it was supplemented by horse men of the recanik pashaliks. in 457YBCW Constantine along with his brother and his extended family marched under the imperial banner into the governance to remove the lostian and lostian nobility from power. the war was a failure and Constantine was force into retreat. after this he committed suicide a year after the war ended and was given the name Constantine the quieter. his 11 year old son Lazar 1st (466YBCW-410YBCW) was know the families head with his uncle merko become his regent. this came with much tension as merko had went to the hallsbergs for help .Lazar 1st modernized the exile bringing in new weapons and exile officers who where tired of the eteria family.in 424YBCW mohammad 12th went to war against Justinian 10th and after a violent war he was removed from power and his young son was placed under a council of regent made up of the sultan himself and other abrian lords. in setercha prince Lazar 2nd Constantine 1st son purged his land of all lostians after winning his great battle at Darograd.
the seterchan civil war and the near end of the family-332YBCW prince luka died with two sons. one was his hemophiliac son Fredrick who was the son of his first marriage and his second George was the son of his second marge and so was not in line to the throne. luka also had several illegitimate children. the house of mentanavic was created by a run away son of prince lech 1st. the boys name was zola and his father refused to allow him to marry a commoner so he had a royal decree and made himself a royal family and built a keep for him and his wife.
