early life-andrew 3rd was was born 172YBCW august 12th the son of brother and sister Andrew and francesca mentanavic. The young prince spent little time with his mother or at court but instead spent alot of time with his father. his father tough him the ways of war and his political opinion which the young prince didn't like. he loved his younger brother and sister and the three were often seen playing. at a young age he was seen to be smart and cunning with a mind for war and politics.
Crown prince of carniola- when he was 14 he travel with his father to carniola where he was crown prince and commander of the collaborationist army. he tired to curb his fathers activity and in the lands and trided to bring in reforms to help. but the young prince could do little. when the war of the long winter ended and the frontier men returned home, In order to save his army he surrendered and was taken captive. He was branded with a raven on his back as payment for what his father had done to the lands of the frontier kingdom.
reign as prince-He was made prince after the war was over at the age of 18. His reign was a drastic change To his fathers. spending was cut from the army and the money was placed into public works like roads. He introduced sweeping political reforms. He banned lords from recruiting there own army’s and disbanded the order of the black heart the group of political knights which hadn’t large sway over the government of the principality. During his reign taxes were placed once the wealth and more money was given to the poorest in society pulling the money from the darkness. This however didn’t dampen his military spirit. He went back to Mohammabad and got a degree in military history. he also set up a council of nobles called the 12 which was formed from the 7 most powerful nobles in his dominion along with representatives of the army, the govoner of Belgrodna the head of police, a new interior minister and Representative from the sultan . he wanted to make a Parliament but the sultan was the only person to make that possible.
marriage and children-he had married at 22 to his cousin princess jahera the daughter of his uncles lechs only marriage. his first son radavan was Born 143YBCW when he was 29 . his next son Stephan mentanvic(person:8ce947c7-9d9c-42bb-8a8d-d9d620ce6bdb) was born 3 years later 140YBCW and his only daughter @[Olga mentanvic was born 139YBCW. a week after his daughters birth the principality was invaded by the kerois who sought vengeance and the principality frontline defences fell apart. however the man they called the liberal was not scared of violence. His war on the frontier lasted only a month and he saw the kerois defeated but then without permission from the sultan he asked for peace talks. The treaty of belgrodna was then signed between the House of Mentanavic and house of keroi. his reign as so much peace and plenty. people were happy. farmers were given fair money for there work. the army was modernized and cut down to 25000 most being on the frontier.
the tests- in 123YBCW his grandson Michael was born to his first son radavan and his wife princess jasmine the daughter of the sultan. that same year however he found that his daughter was pregnant after she had had an affair with a lawyer from the verianberg empire. the baby was born the same year and his second grandson was a bastard who she named rudolf. the first true test to his reign came 122YBCW when his brother [Francesco mentanvic was killed in the frontier along with his body guard. the prince know had a sister without her wife. he had a a nephew and a niece without a father and there child stefan would never know his grandfather. his nephew [Andrew mentnavic demanded that his father be avenged but Andrew didn't want war. but he knew if he didn't act he would lose face.he decided to take action demanding that David keori be reprimanded for his actions. the verianberg emperor laughed at this, so Andrew simply stopped all trade off all seterchan good to the empire. setechan oak was a key part of the frontier economy and without it they were facing economic ruin. David refused to do anything so his brother josef was brought in to become lord commander in place of his older brother.
later rule- His son radavan and his wife princess jasmine gave him three grandchildren Michael,lech and Ivan. his second son and daughter also gave him two more grandchildren Radavan mentanvic(person:1ba39660-656a-41fb-bcbc-d57be6c2090b) and [Stephana mentanavic. olga would as give Andrew a bastard grandson Rudolf the dragon. his bastard grandson and his eldest son radavan eldest children didn't get along and Michael and rudolf dueled. rudolf spared his cousins life and andrew impressed by rudolf wisdom and kind heart created the county of nis for his bastards grandson. josef blood raven invaded setercha in 90YBCW. radavan @[Michael mentanavic who was now 33 and lech who was 30 accompanied there father to fight. michael, lech and there father died fighting on the frontier kingdom when was final broke the years of peace but the war ended the year is started . leaving Ivan born 96YBCW as his heir. When Ivan was six 90YBCW Andrew grew deathly ill and died on the eve of lumber harvest season in mid April leaving his grandson under a regency ran by his uncle Stephan.
