Alonkik

Demographics

The Valerian Province is similar to the rest of the Empire in its primarily human-inhabited cities, however, it also has a notably large Dragonkin population also present. Alonkik is a perfect example of this diversity, boasting a surprising number of non-human nobles within its walls.

Defences

Very similar to Saltmarsh, Alonkik has a set of large walls surrounding it in tiers that surround the Citadel on Blackmount. It doesn't, however, have quite as many escape tunnels. This is notably due to the city's nature; it was built as the final bastion against an advance and, if Alonkik fell, the entire Empire's military might would be needed to stop the advance of whatever monstrous force had brought it to ruin. Escape tunnels would serve no purpose against such an ultimate threat.
