The Miko are those who devote themselves to a Leviathan, serving as both keeper and acolyte of the great beasts responsible for turning barren worlds into lush gardens.

Some live within or upon their leviathans[, while others merely build civilization in their wake. Both ensure that the Leviathan have their survival needs met.

Naming Conventions

Miko name themselves according to their Leviathan. By short-hand they prefer to be listed by their tribe name, but in full will infix their tribe name into the race. For example, a Sasori is a Laughing Night type. A Sasorimiko would be their full Sophontic identity.
