Through a combination of sustained methane poisoning; trauma from Ayun-Ausralia being nearly destroyed in a cataclysmic event; continous low oxygen; subsistance on fellow nasyk, fish from the methane sea of Ayun-Ausralia (including melancholic eels, humans, verin (primarily Luea) or an as-yet unknow cause, the Nasyk employed and recruited by The Church of The Somnolent to explore, map, and set up provisional mining of the newly colonized planet fell into an almost feral rage. Language skills amongst the effected Nasyk have devolved, settling somewhere between Sazasharanare, Saza Chitter and strings of unintelligible yelling, screaming, and growling. Examination of captured specimens reveals less activity in these areas of the brain, and an increased proclivity to enter a flight-or-fight state. Rehabilitation of specimens has been attempted, with limited results.
Culture
Major language groups and dialects
Heavily corrupted and degraded Sazasharanare
Common Dress code
Most Neshtazito wear either cobbled together outfits, (likely from killed foes, various ruins on Ayun-Ausralia or captured supplies) nothing, or patchwork coverings made from the skin of melancholic eels, other Nasyk or deceased opponents.
Funerary and Memorial customs
Deceased Neshtazito are either consigned to the methane seas, cannibalize or left at the site of their death. It is currently unknown what the difference in circumstance is that leads to each situation.
Common Taboos
Anything bearing The Church of The Somnolent heraldry is viciously, quickly, and savagely attacked by the Neshtazito. During these attacks, the battle cry of the Neshtazito closely resembles the word 'Somnolent' despite the degradation to their language abilities.
