Aeolakyn Magpie Golem

Written by Ademal

The Aeolakyn Magpie is a designed variant of the Aeolamen Raptorhound. It is the favored familiar of many a Psiolic as it has been designed to take Quartz and fill it up with meta for its owner to use in casting.

Design

Aeolakyn are a mixture of orga and meta technology. Like Aeolamen they can be bred but they are specifically designed in a way that they are intended to have meta augments added as they grow. Empty space is left for meta-absorbing enchantments—gemstones running the length of their neck, belly, and tail. They also have a stomach pouch for storing quartz crystals in.   Aeolakyn are extremely personable, favored even by non-Psiolic who crave interaction. They're small, about 2-feet from snout to tail, and come in a wide variety of brilliant colors such as flamingo, peacock, cardinal, mango, and more.

Market

The market for Aeolakyn breeds is high. For both functional and aesthetic reasons, Aeolakyn are treasured as much as dogs. While dogs are more used for their senses, Aeolakyn are used for their problem solving abilities and small, dexterous hands. They can open basic locks and bring tools to their owners in a pinch.
I've got a dog and an aeolakyn, I am set! Now they my job better than I do, so it's a good thing I didn't decide to uplift them!

It might be better if you placed this bit at the top, so we know what it is we are looking at before you talk about how it is made? <3
