Crystalmore is a city with a shimmering but superficial world overground but a less shimmering, more dark world underground that is known as Shadow Lair. The inhabitants of the city are very keen to maintain their superficial appearance. They often do not use their real names as there are people with great energetic power in the town who can make you do anything they want if they know your real name.
Visitors to the city like to keep their identities secret. They often wear full or half-face masks or change their appearance through spells and potions. Those who know that names are a dangerous good in this city don't tell any names at all or use synonyms, while others fall into the trap and can't leave the city for a long time.
Crystalmore is known for its pompous masquerade balls, intricate artistic performances, and especially its shimmering clothes and jewelry.
