Lian Cui

(a.k.a. "Emissary")

A descendant of the survivors of the “Tenzerai" event in Erlyse’s forgotten history and raised among the Nal'tua, Lian was a cut above the average resident of her world even before she acquired powers from a Ley Font. She is one of the three best known heroes of R.I.S.E. across the world, and that is mainly due to her diligence at trying to make a difference for the common folk, not just her abilities. Her abilities granted by the Ley have empowered her mind to be capable of creating various effects through the power of speech, thought and choice, typically involving making deals or any form of bargaining which can affect the world around her in a variety of ways. She is a highly trustworthy individual and very outgoing, having made acquaintances with nearly the entire known roster of R.I.S.E. at one point or another.

Powers

• Capable of understanding, speaking and writing any language in the world just by hearing or reading a sentence or two.
• This vast array of linguistic skill also empowers her verbal capacity to a point that she can mystically enhance her words so they have impacts on the very actions of others who hear them, and even the world around her. Feats she can perform with this ability: She can easily sway hearts, explain the logic of an illogical idea to those with limited intellect, talk others out of things they have decided on, or passionately rouse others through speeches, all with little to no effort.
• Coerce physics or other universal constants to bend in her favor… such as coaxing a door or chest to unlock for her, or for a weak and damaged bridge to stay sturdy for her to cross, or even keeping her youth and extending her lifespan.
• Through her ability to enhance deals, Lian can form pacts with other beings in order to bind them in a form of alliance with her. This allows her to summon them directly to her current location at will to aid her in whatever task she deems them necessary for through the use of requesting their help aloud. Considering she has made such pacts with nearly all heroes in RISE, this means she is never alone.
