Gal (Guh-all)

Gal is the first know and recorded settlement of history all of Eridu deep in the Ancient forest Ultu Ulla settled next to the lake Boalotu. the city is believed by many to be the birthplace of the Eridu Civilization. Because of this, the city is built as a number of rings surrounding the lake to accommodate those that have moved to the city. Gal is also home to the Tablet of Mummu's gift the first written record of the Asmatum people. As a people, the Galians developed the first standardized language for the people of asmatum which lead the scholars of the city to diligently work to record as much of Asmatums oral history as possible and archiving it in the Galian Archive of Written History.
