Ditallu (Deh-tall-oo)

Ditallu the final resting point of the dead in Asmatum, home to outcasts, people who are considered unclean and the necrotic priest hood of Pagru. The city is nettled up against the Cliffs of Mitutu where the great Necropolis Simtum is located. the City of of Ditallu is filled with embalmers, cremators, ritualistic death shamans and medical doctors. People from all over bring there dead here to be buried with there people and families.

Death taxes are in place for business owners and ritual shamans to supply money for the infrastructure of the town.

History

The story of Ditallu: Long ago when the Kenku where banished from the land of Lam they ventured south in search of a land they could call there own. there search lead them to Salasa and they found the Cliffs of Mitutu. At the foot of the Cliff was a cave which the Kenku called home for many many years. during this time a Kenku elder by the name of Gaapin Brozte had a vision during a Spirt Ritual and meet with the God Pagru. he showed Gaapin that the cave was the passage to the after life and that all pass through hear in the end. after this the Kenku moved out of the cave and to the surrounding area at its opening and the cave became the necropolis Simtum. after which the Kenku sent messengers of Pargu out to tell the people of Asmatum of the holy grounds of Simtum.
