Esder Forest

The Esder Forest is a small tract of woodland within the Pelden Meadows. It is spiritually significant to the fae of Fairy Hill, the testri, and the Vulpen. Here they gather in to celebrate the seasons and honor the spirits that dwell among them. In general, it's a peaceful place where people can come and relax. The Esder Forest is located on the northwestern outskirts of Osenard. The Wardens established a circle to keep the forest safe. They are charged with keeping the peace and protecting the forest from those who would harm it or its inhabitants. They have done so for generations, but now they find themselves at odds with the people of Osenard. The Wardens want the forest preserved as it always has been, while The Iron Priesthood wish to expand the city and cut down some of the forest. Within the heart of the forest lies a grove of fruit trees, the fruit of which can ease the mind and aid in the recovery of trauma. These trees grow only in the deepest parts of the forest and are protected by the Wardens. It is said that if you meditate in this grove, you can hear whispers of the past.
