Pelden Meadows

The Pelden Meadows are plains in central Casane. The grass is tall and green, and the soil is rich and fertile. The meadows are a haven for wildlife, including Nura, mowmows, foxes, and mantids. The land is also dotted with hills and shrubland.
The Pelden Meadows were once a large lake. The water dried up, leaving behind a shallow basin. The land is now covered in tall grass, and the area is crisscrossed by a network of dry streams.
The region is the hunting grounds of Altosk, a great Roc Immortal. Many locals worship Altosk and pray for his protection when traveling.
