Majister's Point
Located on the North-Western edge of the Charted Realms, Majister's Point is the ancestral home of the Ossian Tsardom and the location of the last Majical Mysterum's capital. Dotted with ancient ruins now infested with abominations that routinely prey on the locals, Majister's Point was once a verdant landscape before the fool Majes of the Fourth Majical Mysterum turned it into a desolate hellscape in their avarice. Now, though, nearly one and a half million people live on the peninsula, under the protection and guidance of on Tsar Kolosova Vasilissa Denisovana, and the Brightlord aristocracy she rules.
Geography
Majister's Point is a rocky, mountainous place, with large peaks comprising most of it's land mass. Within the valleys in between these mountains thick forests and occasional small plains can be found, though there are few inland rivers to speak of. Due to it's harsh nature and the preparations of the Ossians Majister's Point is nearly impossible to assail, as almost every mountain is a fortress in it's own right. While not accepting tourists or any outsiders at all, Majister's point has a wealth of Final Mysterum-Era ruins that would bring thousands from across the Charted Realms, though today they are mostly avoided by the Ossians.
Fauna & Flora
Caspellan Wolf:
Found on most mountain ranges across the world, the Caspellan Wolf is a pack predator similar to a traditional wold or warg, though the Caspellan Wolf is a reptile. Resistant to cold temperatures and capable to shifting into the astral plane partially the Caspellan Wolf is a dangerous hunter, especially if found near their dens.
Natural Resources
Due to the high number of mountains in the area Majister's Point is rich in valuable minerals, such as Mithral, Elysian Bronze and Blood Iron. Royal soldiers are often equipped with weapons made from local materials such as these, and even the Tsar herself wields Elysian Bronze blades made from locally mined deposits. Thick trees of Steel Wood choke the landscape, and can only be felled by Mithral Axes.
History
Created during the Fouth Majical Mysterum's decline they created Majister's Point as a natural fortress for them to rule from, as it was easily defensible against rebels. While the new capital was being built hundreds of Majes from across the Mysterum flocked to Majister's Point to build secure laboratories and reliquaries behind the near impenetrable mountains. What the Mysterum's ruling body failed to see, however, was that unregulated Majical experimentation would lead to disaster, and that's exactly what it did. During an event only recorded as the Cataclysm a Majical chain reaction devastated the Charted Realms, slaying millions and unleashing Majical monstrosities onto the world, and nowhere were they more prevalent than at Majister's Point.
If it were not for the timely intervention of an entity known as Korodish and the scholars that had turned to it in their desperation, the peninsula would probably be overrun with abominations today, but luckily, it is not. These scholars had become new undead entities who called themselves 'Brightlords', whom were created through secretive Rites and Rituals, though, whatever they were, the survivors in Majister's Point were just happy to have someone fighting back. The few thousand left rallied to this banner and together they were able to defeat the bulk of the monsters, though never actually defeated them entirely, as many still plague the nation of Ossia and her peoples to this day. Since then the population has rapidly regrown and the Brightlords have organised themselves and their charges into the Tsardom of Ossia, whom stands against Majic in its entirety.
