    Al'Madoon's Sacrifice
    Era beginning/end

    As Elturel assaulted Al’Madoon above the Tree of Aymara, the Architect understood what had to be done in order to cleanse the corruption and spare his beloved Erenel. In a bright flash of light, Al’Madoon sacrificed his celestial body exploding into an apotheosis of divine light. Elturel and the Tree of Aymara took the full force of Al’Madoon’s sacrifice but no part of the universe would be left unscathed. The force of the blast shattered the timeline, freezing all non-deities in a time-lapse that would last for eons.

    Creation of the Trance
    Celestial

    Following the sacrifice of the deity Al'Madoon, his subconscious materialized encompassing Erenel, the Above and the Below; forming a magical plane of beauty, grace, and peril. Known as the Trance or the Dream, the plane partially covers The Above, The Below and the mortal plane.

    Creation of the Above
    Celestial

    The Above, formed from the love of Al’Madoon and his self-sacrifice. For choosing light over darkness, Rezmir would ascend to the Above, welcoming the kind-hearted and those who embraced the light. With the help of his sisters, Asanna and Luniwyn, Rezmir successfully recovered a branch from the damaged Tree of Aymara, planting this new tree close to his acquired domain. This branchling grew and began to bear fruit, as its mother Aymara did before it, forming angels and seraphim as the fruit ripened.

    Creation of the Below
    Celestial

    The Below formed from the hate and greed festering within Elturel. Elturel fell into the Below from Al’Madoon’s sacrifice, finding himself surrounded by a plane of shadow and despair. Many Elves, witnessing their master fall, cursed Al’Madoon and followed Elturel as he descended. A deep hatred for Al’Madoon consumed Elturel. In disgust by his failure, he began to manipulate the Elves loyal to him, transforming their flesh into horrific variations. Over time, these Elves became the first demons and devils, their minds now broken by suffering.

    Death of King Eirick
    Life, Death

    King Eirick, his mind not his own, began to banish men and women into the tundra or crush their skulls with his massive 2-handed maul for small unwarranted offenses. He would shout, "famine and starvation approach our doorstep. There is no place here for new mouths to feed. Our land is not for the weak." Food began to grow scarce, and the cold grew stronger as King Eirick's leadership waned. The dark will of Mavkaii spread. Soon King Eirick's closest advisors and friends turned against him. They claimed he was nothing like his father and lead his proud people to ruin. For their survival, a rebellion was born. The Caelian common folk ended Eirick's reign in a great uprising unseating the king and putting him to death.

    Death of Sebastian Vaneras

    Once Sebastian lay in his resting place of choice, a grave dug into the dirt of the Northern Wildwood, Aratil struck. Aratil drove a long wooden stake into the heart of Sebastian both ending the life of the vampire lord and freeing those weaker dark spawn close enough to hear Sebastian’s cries. As Aratil left the Vampire Lord’s Spire, he tethered into the bond shrouding the resting place and forever hiding the Spire of Sebastian Vaneras.

    Fall of Salthiel

    Salthiel was once a favored angel in service of Rezmir, standing at his right hand, carrying out true law and defending the faithful against depredations. Salthiel's influence grew, and many of Rezmir's worshipers prayed not to the winged lion but to an angel for aid. It is unknown if this worship caused Salthiel to grow arrogant, or perhaps another unknown force manipulated the angel, but regardless Salthiel sought to replace Rezmir atop Zion Mountain.   Easily defeating the angel, with great sadness, Rezmir banished Salthiel, his choir of light hurling the fallen angel down to The Below. Luckily for the fallen angel, allies beyond the Realm of Remembrance recognize Salthiels potential.

    Veryne was once the capital of the Vhalurian Empire, a small yet prosperous empire on the western continent Lyrathil. After 150 years of steady, if not complacent, rule by House Ludremon, an unfortunate cosmic accident brought about the city's immediate destruction.   On that fateful night, enormous fragments of a fallen star rained down upon Veryne, devastating the city and contaminating its residents, causing them to mutate in gruesome eldritch ways. Now, multiple factions gather outside the ruins of Veryne, holding expeditions into the hostile ruins in search of knowledge, wealth and answers.
