Grafs
The Grafs (honorific: The Right Honorable) form the single largest body of Electors in Kongression. Each elector presides over a March, a piece of land approximately 100 miles square. They are tasked with keeping and maintaining it, and serve as the Lord Paramount, and hereditary ruler of the land, deriving their claim from the The Große Kongression and The Emperor of the Engarland Empire.
Grafs are divided into two groups. Margrafs, who control a border region of the empire, and are expected to provide and serve in the defense of the Empire's borders, and the Burgrafs who hold an internal territory. While both are considered equal ranks in the eyes of Kongression, most Margrafs view themselves and are viewed as superior in status to their Burgraf peers, due to their additional responsibilities.
