The Electors

Below the Imperal Seat is the republic body of Kongression, which serves as the single check to the balance of Imperial power. Kongression is built up of Kings, Dukes, Maers, and Grafs from the various provinces of the Empire, numbering 34 seats in total. These Electorships, much like the Imperial Seat itself, are a hereditary privilege, with the holder of the seat, being the nominal Lord Paramount of their territory. Electors may be the Leaders of Vassal states, Principalities, or land bequeathed to their owners from the Imperial seat in the distant past.
