Viscounts
A Viscount (honorific: The Honorable) will be a vassal noble in service to an elector. While their status is hereditary, it comes as the pleasure and discretion of the Elector they serve under, and could potentially be stripped at the displeasure of them or the Emperor. A Viscount will be granted a significant subset of an Elector's estate, as their personal fief, to administer. Most Viscounts will have a Castle or Keep, for which they will use as their seat.
Appointment
This title is Hereditary, but a person may be raised to their rank by an Elector, Kongression, or the Imperial Seat.
Duties
Administration of their Fief on behalf of their lord.
Benefits
Vested with the ability to raise people to the Chivalry.
Accoutrements & Equipment
Usually allowed or own a Castle and a significant subset of their Lord's Land.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
May be removed by their Elector, Kongression, or the Emperor.
