Huaren Ethnicity in Emynea | World Anvil

Huaren

The Huaren are the people of Zhongguo , the largest country of Yaxiya. They have a refined and complex culture with a long history. Their myths, legends and religions are intricately interwoven with the Erlithmanil, particularly Ylithuum, Wylrith and Rylis but their primary patron is Ralgotar who they call Huangdi.

Ordinarily, the Huaren people have looked to the descendants of Huangdi as their divine rulers. The Sì Xiàng : Four Dynasties have had an extended reign, the complexities of their politics vastly entertaining for Huangdi. However, in the last twenty years they have lost their autonomy to the Kingdom of Accia, these Four Dynasties only ruling at the kingdom's whim. Despite this, Zhongguo and especially their capital Yánjīng has benefitted from the open trade with the kingdom and it's territories.

Their cities are incredibly organized, following a rectangular grid system called Feng. Because of the overabundance of basalt produces by Pénglái Shān in Yánjīng, they have incorporated this material drastically into their construction whether this be for roads, foundations or actual structures. They also utilize interlocking beams in construction and minimize use of nails so their buildings are more earthquake resistant, earthquakes rather common in Yaxiya. They use bright colors of red, yellow and green and many buildings incorporate images of the Four Dynasties' iconic animals.
