Silverbrook

History

Founded in 963 by House Moonshadow to foster relationships with the dwarven houses ( House Ironhelm & House Emberforge ). The central location between three large cities- Soft March Mines - Hammerfall Mines and Ironhold Mines . For 75 years this settlement acted as a logistics hub for these three larger cities. However after Shrimpers Cove Was founded, trade from the west slowed to a trickle. Ironhold mines shrank in power and by 1125, Silverbrook had begun to shrink as those who could afford it began to leave for other areas.

Today the town continues to shrink. The road to Soft March Mines is all but abandoned. The townspeople left look inward for self sufficiency

Economy

Local wines, unique for the frost the grapes endure, are one of the sole exports from this town. The rest of the population focuses on subsistence and catering to the few travellers that come through.

Only 3400 people remain, down from its peak of 15,00.
