House Emberforge, the oldest and most revered of the dwarven houses in the kingdom, traces its lineage back to the First Forging in early 600s CA. Legend tells of Donal Emberforge, the house's founder, who struck the first sparks from the Heartforge Anvil, a relic said to hold the fire of the earth's core. These flames, unyielding and eternal, became the symbol of House Emberforge—a beacon of craftsmanship, endurance, and honor.
Nestled in the Western Boars Back Mountains , the Emberforge stronghold, known as Ironhold Mines grew into a fortress of stone and flame. Over the course of the 9th and 10th centuries, The nobles of House emberforge built Abbys across Belkar, to serve as trade posts and spy beacons for the house. The house of Emberforge was the first to unite Belkar, along with colonizing settlemets of Hammerfall Mines in the Western High Peak Mountains, Settlements that would ultimately turn into House Ironhelm . A number of expeditions were alse launched into the southern mountians of Twin Peak Mountains , Wyvern Mountains and Hill Giant Mountains , but none of the settlements ever lasted more than a handfull of years.
During the high of its power, House Emberforge was unmatched, discovering unique growing tech to grow vertical farms, so many of the mountain passes and peaks became valueble farmland. New smithing of rare or abnormal materials became possible in this golden age.
In the early 900s, an invasion from the east resulted in the Battle at the Bridge of Silk, where the power of Emberforge and its allies House Evergreen House Glimmerleaf House Stonefoot and House Ravenshield were defeated by Hericletus from House Aquilar.
Now, in the kingdom’s modern age, House Emberforge remains a symbol of dwarven pride. Though their numbers have dwindled, their forges still burn, tended by generations of smiths who honor their ancestor's legacy. To hold Emberforge steel is to wield a piece of history—unyielding, enduring, and forged in the fires of time itself.
