Shrimpers Cove
History
Founded in 1068 by House Seasnake as part of their expansion and strengthening of their new holdings. Just 59 years after the granting of a noble title, House Seasnake still felt the interior of its holdings were unexplored.
Surveyors and explorers were sent, and soon settlers followed, creating Shrimpers Cove on the edge of Western Forests region.
The Loggers River which moves down the western side of the town, was discovered to be perfect float heavy timbers, pitch and other goods on flat bottom barges. The town was built at a natural stopping point for those hard working shipping crews.
Over the last century the town has grown to be a small city, growing quickly with the wealth of goods moved by river from Soft March Mines. This has also strengthen ties with House Ironhelm since both noble houses have made vast wealth from these flat bottom barges. These agreements have brought many dwarves to the docks, along with the human and elven settlers from House Seasnake
Economy
The town revolves around unqiue flat bottom barges that travel north and south from Soft March Mine to Tideport. This might include working on the barges directly, working in loading or unloading the goods, or the large warehouses that have sprung up in the area to house an abundance of goods.
Population
The town is broken down into 30% human, 30% dwarf and 30% elf. With the remained of the population being a mix of other races.
