Founded nearly two centuries ago, the market was named for the silver lanterns that illuminated its stalls, glowing like fallen stars beneath the great oaks. Travelers from distant lands would come to barter beneath the towering trees, while musicians and performers filled the air with lively tunes. The market thrived as a hub of commerce and culture, its reputation spreading far beyond the borders of Oakreach.
But prosperity is fleeting. Over the past few decades, the market has withered. The constant infighting in House Evergreen drove many vendors away.
