Crimson Pine Forest

History

The crimson pine forest is located in Western Forests region of Belkar. The large dense forest is a mix of deciduous and coniferous trees. The forest gets its name from the falling leaves in the fall which cling to the pines and turn them different shades of red.

The forest is very large, covering more than 3 million acres. The forest is full of wild game such as dear, boar, partridge, quail, rabbits and more. Around the edges of civilization the forest is relatively tame, however in some parts if the northern forest, and almost all of the southern forest, it is so remote, dangerous beasts, poisonous plants and other horrors lurk in the gloom.
