Leon
History
A small semi nomadic town until the year 927, when a settling force made up of former veterans from House Aquilar settled the area permantly. The city is on the edge of the The Central Steppes of Belkar and the Salt Dune Desert. This permeant location surrounded by nomads from the steppes and nomads from the desert, make a good meeting point for the highly skilled people of both cultures.
Economy
The poor agricultural land of the salt deserts and steppes means that most of this city relies on imported food. To pay for this most people in the city develop skills, and so excellent smiths, crafters, jewellers and all manor of other artisans. However skilled labour such as sellswords, animal handlers, and all manner of talented people find their way to Leon
