Structure
The Kingdoms of Nardethel is a federation of kingdoms lead by a council of Kings. A seat of the council of kings is gained through hereditary primogeniture of the royal family of the individual kingdoms (Except for Othrae, which has an Elective Monarchy). The Council of Kings Elects a High king, whose role is that of a chairman, They cannot vote on a matter unless there is a tie break. The high king however has full control on the defense of the federation, and controls the declaration of war - externally.

The Federated Kingdoms of Nardethel aim to work together in protection and to resist subjugation from the larger nations around them.
History
The Federation was born 250 years ago as a reaction to the Kingdom of Vardleon was annexed into the Reanian Empire (Becoming Supland) in an act of defense.
Demography and Population
The various Kingdoms of Nardethel exist in their own Feudal stuctures, with the vast majority of the population being peasant farmers. Ownership of the lands falls to the Knights, Barons, Counts, Dukes and of course Kings.
Territories
The Kingdoms own most of the territory south of The Spine, Except that which was lost to the Reanian Empire in the Succession of Vaudleon
Military
Unlike the Reanian Empire, there is a somewhat sanding army within the federation. The Royal Army of Nardethel can accept troops from any of the kingdoms. Its ranks are often made up of the nobility - The second sons of dukes and the like, trying to gain fame and fortune. Good service in the Federated army can be rewarded with Land and titles.
The Individual Kingdoms do not have their own army per say - as to encourage co-operation between the once enemy kingdoms within the federation: But the kings do fund a large retinue of Knights and Paladins who serve under an oath rather than payment.
Religion
Pantheon of Nardethel
The majority of the Kingdoms of the Nardethel follow a subsect of Heroship known as the Chivalliant. The Chivalliant reveres the King-That-Never-Was as a holy hero who warriors and nobles should aspire to be like. The second level of the Pantheon is made up of other warrior gods such as Lathander, Heironeous and The Red Knight who are also seen as symbols to live by. The last level of the pantheon is made up of beatified knights, paladins, clerics and matyrs known as "saints". It is a lifegoal of the most pious Chivalliant followers to be sanctified and have their name and story chronicled in the hall of the beatified, anointing them a saint. Havary is the most religiously different of the Kingdoms,as it has its own variation of the Chivalliant known as The Sanguine Ossuary which elvates some of its own denisens to saintification, despite their Blood Malediction making them otherwise seen as impious to the rest of the faithForeign Relations
Although the federation was born out of fear of conquest, The Kingdoms of Nardethel have since maintained relatively good diplomatic status-quo with the Reanian Empire - with the current High King negotiating a defensive alliance between the two in his youth.
The individual Kingdoms within however have their own foreign policies and relations however.
Agriculture & Industry
The Planes of Nardethel are well know for their excellently fertile soil. Because of this The various kingdoms' industry tend to surround the production of foods: namely crops over animal husbandry.
Education
Education tends to be reserved for the nobility and those who can afford it: there is now universal system of education out side of charity to teach the poor.
