The grand Rebellion against the Old Ones
Circa 8,900 DCE - 9,100 DCE
Troth provided a boost of power to raise Pentharion above all Celests, with the use of his own power. Together, Pentharion, Corellion, Pandora, Agethis, Aoura and even Gruumsh managed to unite the other Divine, and Celestial beings together to overthrow the Old Ones.
During the fight the first of the Celests to ever truly Die did in the battle with Pentharion, and when Pentharion absorbed its life, the others tried to retreat, but Petharion slew three more, and drove the remaining to the waiting “embrace” of Pandora in Limbo. Being a Celest herself, she used tricks Troth had taught her, and tricked the old ones into a portal they believed to be the same as Troths, to get to Ao, but was actually a portal to a collapsed universe. They are all that is there, and she has kept the lid on their return ever since.
At the end of this there were only four remaining Celests;
- Corellion, who had been bled, and lost much of his power when he was betrayed by Lolth.
- Grummish who too was injured by combat with Corellion, and had his powers stripped down by the other Celests.
- Pandora, who is essentially locked within Limbo holding back the Old One's return for fear of their wrath.
- Troth who had willingly scarified what powers they did not need to continue their self appointed task of watching all, and judging all.
Pentharion, rather then returning the power he had absorbed, split himself into three parts, Aeon, Clementis, and himself, and empowered Aoura and Agethis. This made them as powerful as Troth and Pandora.
This formed the new celestial order, and first the divine repaired the celestial realms, with the help of the now freed and grateful celestial beings like the angels and Empyrans. Only a few tried to remain loyal to the Old Ones, but were cast out into the lower planes.
