Understanding Winning

Winning in a game of D&D is actually meeting up with your friends successfully and having a good time. The successes and failures inside the game do not constitute winning. If you really wanted to push it, you could expand that winning at a Campaign is completing it, though how it completes doesn't have to be the best outcome. In other words, you can fail to save the world, and still have a good time doing it!
Do not assume that to have fun you must come out on top of every encounter and succeed at everything you try and do, as that is simply not the way the game works. It comes with highs and lows, thats how probability works. There is no need to ensure your character is maxed out perfectly, we are here to have fun, and be sure you want to play the character you make. You may want to make them at lest somewhat effective, so they can survive and contribute to the party to help drive the plot, but perhaps thats not the character you want to play. In line with the condition for winning (that everyone meets and has fun), keep the following in mind   If you have any Idea's in mind for your character, flavor, backstory, or anything you may not be sure how to fit into the campaign, I am available to chat, and you best reach me by sending any information on the question, idea, or thoughts, and I can help it get incorporated to the world as best as I can.
