Manes

Souls of evil creatures that descend to the Lower Planes are transformed into manes within the abyss - the lowest form of demon kind. These wretched fiends attack any non-demon they see, and they are called to the Material Plane by those seeking to sow death and chaos. Twisted, horrifying examples of the creatures they once where, tortured back into existence within the abyss, these small creatures roam the abyss, looking for that way back into the material Plane, at least until they are forced into the service of a Demon lords Hoard.
