Fausenne Character in Eldridth | World Anvil

Fausenne

A legendary Musician who plays a violin with extreme success, and has been world famous since the age of 13. Extremely rich, with a large mansion placed not far off the road between The City of Thena and Cibell. Many people almost worship Fausenne, and his house is often encamped with people hoping to gleam wisdom, or hear him play, even when he is not at home. Many have become servants and care takers of the land.
It is said his mother, who was widowed, homeless, and pregnant with Fausenne, sold both her and her child's soul to a Devil, in exchange for her son to be born a prodigy. What is certain is she died in childbirth, and her son was raised within an orphanage, for the first few years. His ability to rapidly learn, set him apart from the other children, and he was eventually taken by a traveling merchant, who raised the child from the age 5 to use his skills to earn the Merchant money.
It was here that he learned to play the violin and other instruments, and his performances would gather large crowds, allowing his adoptive father to steal and sell ridiculous magical trinkets. Eventually Fausenne became so successful he broke away from his father at the age 10, and while often underestimated at first, where he went people took notice after not too long. At the age of 13 he was brought before the Queen of Thena, who had heard of his musical prowess. There he played the violin for her, and the Queen, touched by his skill, and plight as a orphan, and supplied him with quite a lot of funds, as well a deed to some land in the kingdom.
There he built a perfect home, which boggles the mind, as it took this child only 1 year to build a massive mansion. He continued to travel, gathering more and more fame, renown and gold. Often he would return home, bringing with him followers who follow him essentially as his groupies.
