Corruption of the Manedir

The Corruption of the Manedir is a vision made by Eliza Reensteyn, the infamous Divine Soothsayer of Zecod. It tells of a time, when the fanatic followers of Zecod are able to gain possession of all the pieces of the original Manedir, the first artifact of the gods, and corrupt them to their own use. The prophecies is one of the Reensteyn Prophecies, of which many have come true to the current day.
When the gods created their first tool, they learned to create, they learned to destroy. They did not understand this tool will be their destruction, once it was made whole again.
The prophecy, as told by witness of the account, tasks the followers of the dark god to search down the lost pieces of the Manedir. These pieces have been scattered all across the lands after it was used to strike down the deity Zecod. The pieces still contain a lot of power and were incorporated into many different powerful artifacts, Not all whereabouts of the pieces are known, but the prophecy tells of a time where they all will be revealed at once. There are hints this moment is related with the reocurrence of the comet Zecod's Tear.
When the tear will fall, the truth will rise and the parts will be whole again
The prophecy is known to the church and they are worried about the possible manipulation of the Handelsgut Bell which is thought to contain the head of manedir. Other artifacts which are suspected to be part of Manedir are closely monitored by the church.
And it will be man himself learning of the ways to negate hat the gods do. And nature will bend to his will and all magic will be for his gain, to be left behind powerless and within the nothingness.
Draining an artifact of godly power seems to be an impossible task. The recent developements in mago-technology however demonstrate, how magic can be drained from objects to power the new industry. The prophecy does indeed seem to hint towards new technology enabling the corruption of old artifacts.
With this, my followers will yield the fear of the gods itself. They may even strike the heavens to see me return.
The goal of the corruption is to equip the followers of Zecod with a powerful weapon against the gods themselves. Ultimately, it should empower them to free Zecod from his emprisonment in the comet.
