A Letter from Beleren Hazid to Shroud HQ
We finally apprehended a member of the Clown Kings, one of our agents got sliced up pretty bad but we should get some information from the interrogations in the next week or two. Sadly the city never stops moving, and just when we've gotten our hands on one cult another bubbles to the surface. This week a gang of Myltevian smugglers known as the Slavoslavs was hit by a rival gang in a shock-and-awe assault on their headquarters, but what sets this apart from typical gang violence is the methods used. A magical hurricane appeared during the fighting, very similar to the storm witnessed a couple months ago at the docks. We still know very little about this group and its goals, but judging by their quick getaway and the Slavoslav death toll we're dealing with highly skilled professionals. I know we're already spread thin, but if we can spare another couple agents I believe we should investigate this group to see where they're getting their powers from. Perhaps we're just dealing with another stormborn sorcerer, but if they obtained their powers through more illicit means we need to root out the source of their magic.
