Zirra Kirnoma

One of the only known pictures of Zirra, heavily corrupted from age and decay.

Introduction:

Zirra Kirnoma was a stellar engineer who lived during the end of the High Precursor Era and through the entirety of The Second Cataclysm . She is the only stellar engineer that historians have discovered a significant amount of data about, making her life a window into the former society during the High Precursor Era.

Early Life:

Zirra was born on Nelaria in an unknown city to her parents, Haliester Melnor and Hally Kirnoma. Information about her childhood is mostly unknown, apart from evidence that she enjoyed visiting the edge of The Universe on vacation. Zirra's presumably excellent performance in school led to her being accepted into the stellar engineer program on The Sacred Garden, where she met her fiancée Artigraz Onduli.

Contributions:

Zirra's engineering work was mostly focused on designing large structures that were able to experimentlally design new technology. Her largest known accomplishment in this field was the creation of the MK 586 matter decompressor, which was used in all Singularity Drives and Swarm Drones until the Second Cataclysm.
Zirra's other discovered large accomplishment was assisting in the creation of the Overseer. She and at least 4 other stellar engineers worked together to create a structure to host the Overseer, under the guidance of the Architect. Zirra in particular designed most of the Cosmic Fiber Energy Extraction Drive, which served as the Overseer's power source.

Death:

It is unknown what happened to Zirra. Her last documented appearance was on the ERS Heaven's Spear during its final voyage. While no official reports of her death have been discovered, most archeologists agree that she likely perished during the ship's accident.
